I release the pressure to work outside of my natural limitations.

I am aware that I have natural limitations and I let go of the need to work above and beyond my capacity. I am happy to work at a pace that is natural for me. In doing so, I can accomplish more and reach greater success.

I am a unique person and I have a unique way of doing things. This fits nicely within my limitations. I embrace my beautiful creativity and let go of the pressure to work unnaturally.

Limitations are like boundaries. Being able to recognize my boundaries helps me release my stress and pressure so I can work efficiently, yet prudently. I am not weakened by my limitations. Instead, I am stronger because I am aware of these boundaries that I have to work within.

My boundaries may be different than someone else’s and that’s okay. Just as all people are different, all limitations are different. I can find peace by accepting my limitations without comparison.

Today I accept my natural limitations and trust in my abilities. I embrace my strengths and uniqueness and I will be a better me for it.

Questions of Reflection:

1.    Do I know what my natural limitations are?
2.    Have I accepted my limitations?
3.    Have I let go of the pressure to work beyond my natural limitations?

I organize my priorities into separate bins and pull them out one-by-one.

There is a reliable technique I use to manage my priorities.  Using this system helps me organize my life.

When I think about my priorities, I imagine a row of balls.  I pick up each ball, one at a time, and I label it with a goal or a task I hope to accomplish.

Then I take the ball and evaluate how important it is to my life.  Once I have carefully assessed its value, I place the ball in one of three bins.

The first bin is where I place every high-priority task.
This bin contains every task or goal that is most important to me.

The second bin is where I place the balls that are labeled with goals I hope to accomplish ’someday.’ The projects in this bin are not as urgent or important as my high-priority tasks.

The last bin is where I place balls that are ‘delegate or drop’ tasks. This bin is helpful to me because it allows me to remove the tasks that are unimportant so I can focus on my bigger goals.

Once I have sorted each ball into my bins, my life has a comforting sense order. When I am ready to take on a new task, I simply reach into a bin and pull out one ball at a time.

Approaching only one task at a time gives me confidence because I feel capable of accomplishing my goals.

This process has simplified my life.  I never lose track of the big picture and I always feel like I am accomplishing the things that are most important to me.

Questions of Reflection:

1.    Can I identify all of the tasks and goals I currently have in my life?
2.    If I examine each task, could I separate it into one of the three bins?
3.    Once I list and organize each task, which is the most important to accomplish today?

I feel no need to create obstacles for myself.  I move forward, stronger than ever.

My time is precious to me. I have a full and active life with many things to do. I enjoy my accomplishments, and I enjoy feeling strong and empowered. I establish these attributes because I choose not to create obstacles in my life. I am firm with my goals so I can accomplish any tasks without distraction.

I am setting myself up for success when I have a firm goal and schedule that I can prioritize. I am able to stay ahead of the game and, should something come up, I am prepared to rearrange my schedule for the better. I am more successful when I carefully follow my plans and avoid procrastination.

Creating roadblocks or obstacles for myself through procrastination is self-defeating and I let go of this unhealthy behavior. Letting go of these negative choices in life enables me to move forward positively and productively. I am strong because I keep a clear road ahead of me. I move forward with confidence and self-assurance.

Today I will ensure that I stay focused on what is ahead of me and I will let go of any obstacles or chaos in my life. I accept my success and my strengths, and I enjoy moving forward with my head held high.

Questions of Reflection:

1.    What are my goals?
2.    Have I created a prioritized schedule to follow?
3.    Have I let go of my fear of chaos and obstacles?
