The more I let go of trying to change others, the healthier I feel.

It is healthier for me to accept people for who they are. I focus on the good qualities of people, rather than the qualities in which I am trying to change. When I do this, I can enjoy deeper positive relationships.

I realize that it is unhealthy to try to change others. People react more positively to me when they can trust me. When I accept others for who they are, I can build a rock-solid foundation based on trust and respect.

As I learn to let go of trying to change others, I personally feel more positive. I am recharged when I take time to pursue my hobbies. Even though I am an adult, my playtime is important to me.Taking the time to go on a bike ride down the river trail or going out with friends makes me feel refreshed. I can release any stress that I may have because I can recharge myself.

My body requires rest and sleep to function at its highest potential. Thats why I take care of myself by making sure I get my rest. Resting my body allows my mind to be clear so I can embrace my peaceful state.

Tonight I will take my time in preparing for sleep instead of rushing through my routine. In this way, I can appreciate the process of preparing for rest.

I joyfully slip into my neatly made bed and breathe deeply several times to fully prepare my body for the rest I will receive. As I drift off to sleep I can appreciate the stillness of the room and the stillness of my mind. When I awake, I feel renewed and my day starts off with peace.
