My planning takes away the sting of potential problems and undue stress.

I am prepared for my responsibilities and obligations and therefore I avoid unnecessary conflicts and stress.

I have an active and busy life that I thoroughly enjoy. I am able to enjoy all my activities and obligations because I take the time to plan and prepare my schedule. Because of this, I am better prepared for any unforeseen issues that arise. My careful planning allows me to fully enjoy all the activities in my life.

I really enjoy keeping busy and having a variety of activities going on in my life because I am an active person.

I am better able to use my time when I carefully plan out my day and week. I am able to see what I need to do and when it needs to get done by. I am an organized person.

I am able to fit things into my schedule when they come up because I can re-arrange things if I need to. I am a productive person.

People know they can count on me to keep my obligations and responsibilities. I am a reliable person.

I avoid undue stress because I take the time to plan things out. I am a calm person.

Today, like every day, I choose to carefully plan my schedule. I am prepared for any sudden changes and I am able to meet all my obligations and responsibilities. I enjoy feeling productive and I am able to enjoy my active life without undue stress.

Questions of Reflection:

1.    Have I prepared my daily and weekly schedule?
2.    Have I left room for sudden changes or fun?
3.    How can I actively organize my schedule so I can enjoy my life?

My resilience and calmness inoculate me from external pressures.

Life contains plenty of challenges, but I am able to anticipate these challenges thoughtfully. I am able to be calm and resilient, which inoculates me from the effects of external pressures.

I wouldn’t go out for a hike over snow-covered hills in my jeans and sneakers. If I chose to do so, I’d be plenty uncomfortable, at best. If I stayed exposed to the elements for long in that condition, I would be putting myself in danger. Instead, I prepare for the excursion with adequate clothing, sufficient food supplies, and a means of calling for help if I get lost. Through preparation, I am ready – and eager – for an adventure.

By putting myself out there, I can experience beauty and wonder in a way that isn’t possible from within my comfort zone. The success or failure of my life journey depends far more on how I prepare for my excursion than on the circumstances themselves.

I don’t shy away from challenges simply because they have the potential to stretch or stress me. Instead, I plan ahead, knowing that I can handle anything with adequate preparation.

Situations may be tough from time to time, but I remain composed if I must tuck my head and march into the wind. Doing so may not always be pleasant, but because I am prepared, I am able to deal effectively and calmly with any challenge in my way.

Questions of Reflection:

1.    Do I miss out on opportunities out of fear?
2.    How do I prepare for inevitable challenges in my life?
3.    What can I do, now, to be calm when challenges arise?

My life can be managed to help me find a healthy balance.

I manage my life by having a plan.  I spend time thinking about the path I am in and the place where I want to be. Organization and order are the ingredients that make my life efficient. Having a plan makes it easier for me to maximize my time and productivity.

My appointments are clearly marked in my planner.  When I commit myself to an engagement, I quickly mark my calendar so I can remember it.  I store reminders in my phone and computer so I am punctual.  My agenda is with me everywhere I go so I know what is going on in my life.

To manage my finances, I keep a monthly budget to help me spend my hard earned money wisely.  I use my budget to help me find a balance in my spending and I allocate enough money to pay my bills and treat myself.

I jot down a variety of lists so I remember all the things I intend to do.  My goals are always written somewhere visible. And yet my vision is written on my heart.

Listening to my feelings allows me to make alterations in my life.  When I feel overwhelmed, I take a step back from work.  If I feel alone, I spend more time with my family and friends.  I take a vacation when I experience exhaustion.

My life is worthy of being treated with the utmost care and I deserve a healthy and balanced life.

Questions of Reflection:

1.    What change can I implement today to better organize myself?
2.    What do I need to do to live a healthy, balanced life?
3.    Am I happy with the way I manage my life?
